Registered Dietitian + Founder of

Change My Eating, Inc.

Jenny Arussi, MS, RDN is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training instructor with extensive experience in disordered eating, diabetes, PCOS, bariatric nutrition and obesity. In addition to her private practice, she enjoys dispelling nutrition myths and teaching the fundamentals of nutrition science to impressionable college students at Santa Monica College.

Jenny learned early on the challenge of resisting the urge to eat to deal with uncomfortable feelings as well as managing smaller portions of food. She started becoming aware of the implications of unhealthy eating by witnessing her own steady weight gain in addition to her father's own struggle with obesity. These issues are what what led Jenny to pursue a Bachelor's of Science in Dietetics + Food Administration, as well as Master's Degree in Human Nutrition in hopes of finding solutions to the disease of obesity. She regularly attends professional trainings on this topic through the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery + The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Binge Eating Disorder Association. Looking for innovative methods to help her clients who struggle with food and eating, she most recently trained and participated in hands-on mindfulness-based trainings through UCLA's Mindful Awareness Practice program and Psychologist, Jean Kristellar's Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training.

In launching CHANGE MY EATING, Jenny brings with her a wealth of clinical experience from treating hundreds of patients at Cedars-Sinai's Center for Weight Loss and The Diabetes Outpatient Treatment and Education Center. As one of Cedar's top level dietitians for over 10 years, Jenny had the rare opportunity to develop and evolve the pre + post-bariatric and weight management programming. As a result of her skills and expertise, Jenny has been invited on numerous occasions to present her research findings and experience to physicians and clinicians on the topics of obesity interventions and bariatric nutrition.
